You know what you need.
Then someone else has feelings about it.
And suddenly, saying what you mean, holding your boundary, or trusting your decision gets a whole lot harder.
When you look back, you can usually see exactly what happened.
The difficult part begins when emotions rise, especially in relationships.
Someone is disappointed.
Keeping the peace feels easier.
You begin questioning something you felt sure about five minutes ago.
You knew what you wanted to say, but you softened it.
You wanted to say no, but you said yes.
You knew their feelings weren’t yours to carry, but somehow, you carried them anyway.
Not because you don’t know better. And not because there is something wrong with you.
Knowing what to do and being able to do it when emotions are high are two very different things.
That moment is the work.
This is where knowing becomes living.
You probably don’t need more information.
In our work together, you learn to:
Say what you mean clearly and calmly
Hold a boundary without explaining it to death
Stay with yourself when someone else is upset
Stop carrying emotional responsibility that isn’t yours
Include yourself in the decisions you make
Let's Talk
Let's Talk
If you recognize yourself in this, let’s talk
Before we meet, I’ll ask you a few questions so I understand what’s happening and what you would like to change.
Then we’ll have a 20-minute conversation. You can tell me more, ask your questions, and get a sense of what working together could look like.
